Actually my biggest excitement is that we FINALLY get the #43 tags for my 43 ship swarm that i've been flying recently!

Some of us do run big scenario games with multiple squadrons! Standard fighter wing of a Star Destroyer includes 3-4 squadrons of TIE Fighters, 1–2 of Interceptors and 1 of Bombers. For my Imperial Wing, instead of the 4th TIE or 2nd Interceptor, I'm using a test squadron that will have wingmate pairs of the EU ships from Wave 4 and beyond.

So yes, ever larger number ID's are great and will save me some token re-painting time ^,^

While the negative point missile is kind of weird, it does seem like a decent way to revise the cost of a ship. Now we just need one for TIE Advanced.

Every new wave there are these doomsday posts of overpowered ships/pilots.
However after the initial shock passes we've been left with a pretty balanced outcome, so I'll keep my hopes up that the testing has been as good as before.

I'm just sorry I bought 4 B-wings ;)

Wow, looks cool. I wish they had chosen a different paintjob for the A-wing though! Looks like a "Prototype Pilot" (McQuarrie concept) paintjob, but I already have 2 like that! :)

That happened to me with the blood stripe on the Interceptor... traded my old one to make room for new ones.

That has now happened to me for BOTH of those ships. Find your own custom paint jobs, FFG! ;)

I'm more convinced that Vader is over costed by a point or two, not that Jake is under-costed.

My favorite combo from the preystalker mission is now a reality!

Tycho + Daredevil + PTL - you'll never catch me!

Heh - you probably just keep choosing the obvious paint jobs ;)

Well Keyan is AWESOME. But I have to admit...when I first heard that Keyan was a pilot in this package I immediately assumed it was an A and Y Wing pack. The B-Wing is a bit disappointing for me. It doesn't really NEED anything new, whereas some new Y-Wing options would be nice as they begin to once again become more relevant in the meta. I suppose FFG feels that they are already getting a little boost with the new astromechs from the upcoming waves. But still...

And - it's not fair to use the Chaardan refit card in your comparison - because you're giving up the missile slot that the advanced has - so I think your comparison needs to stay at 28 points to be valid. Even then - You're also using the elite talent slot on Jake and Vader has his free as well! - We know from the base design, that in general VI is also a discount of 1. - that when not giving up the EPT and going by pilot cards - 1 P.S. tends to cost 1 point - so our comparison should be at 29 vs 33. (And that pretends Jake is at P.S. 9 - and has an EPT and Missile slot free to use.)

Vader can also take a talent that gives him an action - and perform that action and another - for example, Vader can expose and focus - Jake can't.

I'll agree that the Advanced is Overcosted, but I don't think it's by the 4 point differential we see above. I'd put the advanced at 1 - 2 points over, could stretch to maybe 3.

I like Maarek Stele. I think it's cool that they gave us the pilot from Tie Fighter. I like flying him just because I can. That's reason enough.

I don't play in tournaments, I play casual. That's the best part about this game, you can play it how you want.

Everyone who's played the Tie-Fighter game knows Maarek Stele belongs in an Assault Gunboat. Hopefuly, FFG will give it to us in wave 5 (or maybe wave 23?!).

That being said, I like fielding him my games. His ability is nice enough. Being able to choose the crit between 3 cards is good. I like it against Falcons lists. But it means you have to hold on to your missiles until the Falcons' shields are gone.

Wich means plenty of time to get vaped before those missiles get fired.

Wich is another way to say, I guess, that Maarek Stele is useless."Sigh"

"Kyle Katarn
Rebel only.

I can't read the rest. Either way, it looks good especially paired with Keyan Farlander.

Jake can take a second talent using the A Wing title card.

I think Vader is slightly (1-2 points) overcosted. Hopefully we'll see at least a version of the Chardaan Refit for the Advanced.

It's hard to believe, but I have run into these people as well, both online and in person. I wouldn't ever want to play without asteroids, unless it was some sort of special mission.

Hi there I have a list that I want to be good but I really need your thoughts on if it is even possible

Omicron Group Pilot-21
Advanced Sensors-3
Heavy Laser Cannon-7
Engine Upgrade-4

Colonel Jendon-26
Advanced Sensors-3
Heavy Laser Cannon-7
Engine Upgrade-4
ST-321-3

Captian Jonus-22

Total 100 with room for suggestions.

The idea with this build is to move slowly up hand off target locks to get locks on most ships so that I can get range 3 shots with target locks, focus tokens, and 2 rerolls from Jonus. This would almost guarantee 4 hits with each shuttle.

Let me know your thoughts and ideas

Just remember that you can't use both a TL reroll AND a Jonus reroll on the same dice. Each die can only be rerolled once.

No.
Every non-prototype A-Wing can choose to pay for an additional Elite Talent.
Nothing free about it.

Look, up in the sky — it's a bird, it's a plane, it's a milk truck!

Now the Empire has it's own Hood Milk Truck delivering Hoodsie cups to Imperial forces throughout the galaxy.

This and comparison photos of the 3 different shuttle models are up on the blog: http://goblinhall.com/2014/03/19/imperial-milk-truck-and-mor...

This is also a fitting repaint to go along with the Imperial Aces red stripes! (Hey, it seems like a reasonable attempt to discuss Rebel Aces in this thread too so that the moderator squirrels won't hide the thread away in the Lambda Shuttle forum ninja )

I picked up one of these neoprene sheets (mousepad material) last summer:

http://www.hookloopoutlet.com/n30mnis.html

You get 2 mats+space for cards from 1 sheet. You can cut it down however you like. Works incredibly well and it's a decent price (free shipping to US). If you click around on the site they also have different surfacing options and thicknesses.

As the title suggests, I can't really see the use for this systems upgrade card.

When do I want to have a Pilot Talent of 0 anytime at all?

I have 4 A-Wings and fully intend on flying a 6 Proto Squad with 10 pts to spare on EPTs now. So I don't mind the extra figure. I do mind the extra B-Wing, since I just barely bought my 4th :(
