So you would be suggesting that Wedge and Vader would become no longer available because they would go out to put the other pilots in from their respective expansions. Can't see it happening.
And I can't see why there would be additional generic pilots. After all at this time X-Wings have generics at 2 and 4, with a unique at 5.
Y-Wings with 2 less pilots have generics at 2 & 4, with a unique at 6
TIE Adv has generics at 2 & 4 as well, with the unique at 7 and finally the TIE fighter already having 3 generics at 1, 3 & 4 with 2 unique pilots at 5 (and 2 more at 6) so I can't see any generic pilots with a skill at 5 or higher, and there is nowhere to stick a new generic TIE in anyway. The skill 1 TIE is 12 points, the skill 3 is 13 points so it would seem that there is no point difference between 2 and either 3 or 1 so what would be the point at adding in a different generic pilot where the only effect would either to be producing different art that will never see game time, or obsolete an older card.
