If FFG were coming out and saying that in their experience swarm is balanced, I'd agree. But they're not.
So because FFG isn't doing what no gaming company in their right mind would do (engage in a balance debate with the player base) you think they don't believe their game has some semblance of balance. I'm sorry but that is a very amusing set of expectations to hold FFG to. That would be akin to me demanding those commenting on balance be versed in game design to count their opinion.
