Does this have to be done after a straight ahead movement? I don't see anything on the card, so that potentially means as well as the 1 movement + base size boost for speed, this will also allow you to do a hard turn followed by a soft turn which, taking into account the firing arc, will potentially allow you to turn far enough in one turn to fire on a pursuer without having to do a koigoran turn (and taking a stress). That makes this a very useful little skill to have up your sleeve, unless I've missed something.
